Madras High Court Announces 2023 Vacation and Holidays
The Madras High Court has issued Notification No. 318/2022 (R.O.C.No.97711-A/2022/C3) to announce the vacation and holidays schedule for the year 2023. The Summer vacation will be observed from May 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023. The Dussehra holidays will be observed from October 21, 2023, to October 29, 2023. The Christmas holidays will be observed from December 23, 2023, to December 31, 2023. All Saturdays and Sundays are considered holidays, and the schedule of public holidays and High Court holidays is also included in the notification.

It is notified that the Vacation and Holidays for the Madras High Court (both Principal Seat at Chennai and Madurai Bench of Madras High Court at Madurai) for the year 2023 are as follows:-
Madras High Court Summer Vacation Holiday 2023
Monday, the 1st day of May, 2023 to Wednesday, the 31′ day of May, 2023.
DUSSEHRA HOLIDAYS
Saturday, the 21′ day of October, 2023 to Sunday, the 29th day of October, 2023.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Saturday, the 23rd day of December, 2023 to Sunday, the 31′ day or December, 2023,
